In 1995, the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod (PPSCC)
was founded. Barbara and other popular Cape Cod pastellists;
Carole Chisholme Garvey, Lorraine Trenholm, Rosalie
Nadeau, Jane Lincoln, Kimberly duCharme, Edith Cohenno
Bryant and Anne Heywood have been instrumental in coordinating
the PPSCC's exciting workshops and its' annual "For
Pastels Only" art show held in Chatham, MA.
Museum-grade Wallis paper with a pastel and alcohol
wash are the first steps to Barbara E. Stone's paintings.
The color choices are intuitive - - a combination of
years of experience with the tenets of color theory
swirled in.
